UNILORIN KOROPE DRIVERS GANGED UP TO BEAT A UNILORIN STUDENT. .
  On the evening of Saturday June18th , some Unilorin Korope drivers gathered to beat a unilorin student who was refused to be given his balance after paying #1000 and his balance of #950 which remained #50. The student is said to be by name Olukade Muhammad a 500 level Law student who was beaten by the gang of korope drivers over #50 balance because he seized the key of the driver who refused to give him his balance and told him to go to school security to collect his key after reporting himself, thus feeling threatened by the statement decided to take up some actions, thereby taking laws into his hand by locking him up by the shirt and molesting him in Front of some Passersby. After he was asked by the victim to release his trousers which he refused to oblige, the victim in person of this Olukade Muhammad tried to remove the hand of the driver which erupted into an affront from the driver, and he landed a couple of punches on the victim and after he was dealt some blows which he decided to retaliate the other korope drivers joined in and an Igbo guy from the opposite street also joined them, to accost the victim on the main road, when he was almost pushed to being Hit by an oncoming vehicle, when some of the elderly korope drivers intervened and saved from the gang of hoodlums (drivers). I call on all well meaning unilorites to condemn this act and share this piece of message until it get to the management and the student union body.
